Meet Dr. Aminat Osuji, DDS
Education
Born and raised in New Lenox, IL, Dr. Aminat Osuji is a proud Nigerian American with a love for her work and her family. She always knew she wanted to run her own business to have the work life balance she craved. Pursuing her dream, she earned her bachelor’s degree in health sciences from the University of Iowa. She continued her education at the top dental school in the world, the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, where she graduated with her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
Devotion
Dr. Ami is passionate about staying on the leading edge of dentistry and invests hundreds of hours into ongoing training each year. She recently completed a four-month continuum specializing in implant dentistry through Implant Seminars. Dr. Ami is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD),Illinois State Dental Society (ISDS), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), and the Chicago Dental Society (CDS). Dentistry is much more than a career for her, it’s her true passion. The most enjoyable part of her career is the meaningful and long-lasting relationship she forms with her patients. She can’t wait to meet you!
Home and Community
She now lives in Evanston, IL with her husband and 2 year old son.With a passion for service, she’s traveled to rural parts of Jamaica to provide dental work to those in need. She enjoys being involved in her local community as well with the Evanston Race Against Hate and the Give Back a Smile Project to help domestic violence survivors. You may also find her joining an exercise class or traveling to new places with her family
